NIS2 impact on Cybersecurity for Manufacturing
Breakfast briefing to highlight the technical and procedural challenges that will result from the transposition of the EU Directive 2022/2555 Network Information Security version 2 (NIS2) in Irish law. Currently the National Cybersecurity Act 2024 is on the priority legalisation passing through the Dáil and it will have a profound impact on certain critical industries. The briefing also took a preview of the Cybersecurity Resilience Act (CRA) which will shape Europe’s digital future by safeguarding consumers and businesses buying software or hardware products with a digital component from 2026/27 onwards.
